In spite of the controversy that surrounded Michael Jackson during the last decade or so of his life, there can be no doubt as to the impact this incredible entertainer had on the planet. I have to admit that it was only in poring over all the images, sounds and videos of Michael Jackson that flooded the internet after his death that I began to take note of the tremendous scope of his impact on our culture in so many ways.
