Saoirse Ronan as Susie in the Lovely Bones
Capturing time periods realistically in film is challenging, to say the least. Having just seen the trailer for Peter Jackson’s new film, “The Lovely Bones,” based on the best-selling novel by Alice Sebold, we are happy to report that it is obvious that Jackson paid close attention to seventies details for this film. The Lovely Bones looks like it is going to be an amazing film!
“The Lovely Bones” centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family – and her killer – from heaven.
She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal. The film stars: Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, and of course, Saoirse Ronan as Susie. The The Lovely Bones
novel is wonderful – I highly recommend it if you haven’t read it.

Hey, I read this book (the lovely bones) and after seeing the Trailor I’m wicked excited for the movie to come out. Looks like it may be better than the book.
