I just picked up the September 2010 issue of Vanity Fair with Lady Gaga
on the cover.
It’s a great read, I recommend it. Especially if you’re like me and haven’t really followed much of her career until now…it was very insightful. She says some really interesting things, including:
I hate Hollywood….Everyone in Hollywood is so awful, and awful to me; everyone just wants you to fail.
Well, it seems Lady Gaga
, she’s earned 62 million. Ah, we love a success story. Go Gaga!
She is a fascinating character, that’s for sure. I also loved this video of the making of the Vanity Fair cover shoot:
And what about that infamous incident of the defacing of the Birkin bag? Here’s what she has to say about that:
So how do I create and make it into something that they will love and adore, and turn it into a performance-art piece in itself? My fans are more iconic than this purse. And I love fashion, but I don’t love it more than my fans. And that’s what this bag is all about.
